About Max Mullins
Well.......I guess you could say that I'm a redneck with an eye for art and beauty. The art-bug hit me at about the age of sixteen and has continued biting ever since. Painting, drawing, photography, poetry, etc...... It's all art to me. It's all a way of expressing myself. I took several art classes in high school and decided art is what i enjoyed the most. In 1993 I graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a degree in Visual Communications. After graduation I put my degree to use doing freelance work, corporate logo design, illustations, mural design and magazine adds. Eventually I found myself being drawn toward the surrealism that can come from photography. Shape, lighting and composition, all defining what I see. ...

Great photo! I like! The skyscape comes rippling across the landscape with a feeling of the dust bowl, Max! Funny how the negative shapes of the windmills can produce different lines of thoughts about the image. Are they disappearing? Man and the life that was before will not escape the grips of the weather? The negative ghostly shapes ... are they representing what is to come? or has been? but I do see that the wind is coming from the same direction! Great variety added to style & height. Good job! Max.
